A beautiful story told without a single word.

Great game! Awesome experience.

Beautifully disturbing experience. This was one intense 3 minute playthrough.

When the old man took the player's hand, I smiled because I wanted to comfort him in some way. Then seeing him do the same for me hit hard fam.

Stupid game. It sucked. The old man won and I had to wait for my doom. I was hoping for an alternate ending. It's too sad that all paths lead to failure.

*Edit: I did actually enjoy this game but I was deeply affected by the story so... I was sad I couldn't change the ending.

How can you even lose at checkers

Shut the hell up

by not thinking

I was trying to lose.

someone's salty

(+4)

You miss the point. This is a story. It is being told to you.

The circumstance is out of your control.

That's true. Wow I was really salty when I was younger lol

(+3)

Should of won :( it was so beautiful

holy crap this game was amazing!
The moment the music cut out, it got very tense!

(+7)

This is incredible. Even as it is it's already more than enough to experience the dread it's meant to portray. Bravo. I will use this game as an example when someone asks why videogames should be considered art.

Bravo

wow

(+3)

What a cool game, I was so immersed and curious to see what happen next.

(+2)

Thats what i said.

Creepy

Damn. This is really good.

Wow, I really felt the eerieness from this game. Was so cool and interesting. So many parts fit the theme. The checkers game was out of control after each move and the ending was something I couldn't control in any way with either. Amazing!

Can't say more than what everybody's saying; but then again, some of the best things just aren't made for words ;) Honestly one of my best experience in this jam, short but powerful and sweet. Well done and well executed; makes me sad that I didn't manage to submit one.

Good Game

Damn... This is definitely a unique take on the theme. Pretty depressing

Damn,  might be me and my loved ones. "One last game honey.." Well done, super unique.

That was intense man... good job

The only issue I found are the controls appearing also when the AI is playing. But it's a great idea, greatly executed.

Very unique and affecting. Thanks for making it!

It's a me Mario and Luigi. I'a love stomping on gombas but also enjoy a narative game. Good'a job

(+3)

this is for you

you made my day :) keep on doing what your-a-doin' mario and luigi

(+1)

This was incredibly well executed

(+5)

The 3 minutes felt a lot longer than 3 minutes

I think IneffableTryx28 said everything, think I should add that atmosphere is really well done and really strong.

I liked it.

That was beautiful. I hope you win

The subtle horror of the entire thing is amazing. You're unsettled from the second you start the game, and when the first bomb drops you realize what's actually happening, and not only the bizarreness of the situation but also the scary nature. The knocking on the door only adds to this, lasting just long enough, as the person across the table from you grabs your hand and smiles, and you're filled with a bittersweet feeling. The game isn't what matters here, but it is fun, it's the story that it tells. Really amazing.

Very interesting concept for the game. You also made it very enjoyable, well done.

I am never gonna play this again, good job 10/10
