wow, genuinely terrifying. legit jumped at the first *BOOM*. this is a very nice game. it's simplistic yet tells a story you're immediately invested in. the intimacy (i'm not sure if that's the right word but) of two friends playing one last game while the world falls apart around them… it leaves me with a feeling that's both cold and warm.
I am not sure, but my theory is that whatever is outside the door is coming to kill the two of them and they know it (Maybe grim reaper?) and they are playing this as "One Last Game" Because they know they are going to die
Just like the person in the other comment, I am not sure. I think, though that this (I believe, but I am probably wrong) takes place during WWII, on the Eastern Front (Germany VS. Russia), and the pounding is German soldiers. They knew they were going to be killed. They heard the mortars, they knew the enemy was near. I suppose you must try to make the most of it with each other before the time sadly came.
this is not 3d game but when i close game few month in my mind this game attract me & i go to itch.io find this game and replay because this game simulation will emotionally connect me , i enjoy it & play until last end

the ambiance in this game, the sheer fear I felt through nothing by a simple board game with a loved one, I say this one is made so good.
By far one of the most gut wrenching games I've ever played in quite a while. It's simple, yet so, so, soooo effective. Insane job
